Today kinda crept up on me but as I get older, the memories are like warm hugs. I took this picture of my younger sister Georgia with my first Canon. It was our first trip to Europe and we were crossing the English Channel on our way to Paris. I am so thankful for those trips we had together. Today, my heart hurts. I really, really miss you Georgia. I wish you could've met Steve, Addison, and Evan or just even had one more day to sit on the couch in your comforting presence, having coffee with a marathon of old movies playing in the background. But I do realize that things would've turned out differently if timing had been different. I probably wouldn't have recognized those qualities in Steve that are so much like yours, be the mother I am today, or would never have picked up a camera again. I love you beyond measure. Thank you for your continuous eternal gifts.
