AN AMAZING JOB
Christel truly does an amazing job at making her subjects feel, most importantly empowered, but also VERY comfortable during the session. I am the type whom isn’t super serious and likes to joke around and we laughed so hard. The amount of shots and angles and flattering poses she came up with in a short amount of time was super impressive. Her studio and props are super cute!! I would highly suggest reaching out to Christel and speaking with her about what ideas you have in mind and getting her perspective. I am SO not the super model type, but Christel’s work and talent truly made me feel like one!! Can’t express enough gratitude!! Highly recommend is not enough

CHRISTEL MADE ME FEEL SO COMFORTABLE AND BEAUTIFUL
Christel made me feel so comfortable and beautiful the whole time! I recently did a boudoir session as a wedding present for my husband and it was the best decision that I have ever made! I was head over heels in love with the pictures and it was so much fun! 10/10 recommend for a present for your significant other or even for yourself!

CHRISTEL IS AMAZING!
She came down to Mission Beach to photograph my daughter and her friends during a day trip from Arizona. Christel took a personal interest in each girl to help make them comfortable in front of the camera and to get them images they would cherish. She traveled through weekend traffic with almost no notice, and conducted the shoot on a very crowded beach in less than ideal conditions. Christel even stayed with us to do some immediate editing on the spot so each girl would have images to share on their drive home. I can not say enough about her kindness, competence and artistic ability. She was able to make everyone feel special and produce images to help girls who have never been professionally photographed share their own unique beauty.

National Charity League Senior Appreciation
My wife and I had the opportunity to use Christel King for our wedding. We had used her for an engagement shoot, after that we were hooked. Christel and her team take such amazing pictures.We have gotten so many compliments on the photographs from our wedding. Everyone at Christel King creative truly felt like family at our wedding and that made everyone involved so relaxed that it really showed in the amazing pictures. I cannot recommend Christel more highly, a true talent and the only photographer my family and I will use for any event moving forward!

I WILL NEVER USE
ANOTHER PHOTOGRAPHER!
I will never use another photographer! Allow me to share our story, Christel was recommended to us by a family friend, hence calling her for our Senior pictures photo shoot. Prior to the shoot Christel was interested in getting to know us and asked for our Facebook pages to see what kind of client she could be expecting- she did her homework. My daughter (17) has struggled with severe acne which has caused her self esteem to plummet, we had been to doctor after doctor seeking solution with no results. Anyhow, my daughter hadn't allowed me to take pictures of her for more than several years due to her acne. Another part to the story is we lived in a Native Village of Alaska for 10 years, never having an opportunity to take mother, daughter pictures together, we then moved to the Gila Wilderness in NM and again no access to a Olan Mills studio, smile. Needless to say we had never taken a professional picture together. Our first experience was over the top fun, personalized, professional and left us wanting to do it again. Christel was beyond caring with my daughter, she had commented in a genuine manner that my daughter was "beautiful" my daughter felt the sincerity and really opened up, she was laughing, she cried, she loved it and had a blast, she didn't want to stop, it was the best experience ever, how do I ever Thank Christel for that? During the shoot Christel took off her shoes, rolled up her pants, jumped in the cold ocean, climbed stuff and laid in the sand to get us the perfect picture, she went above and beyond to capture my daughters personality and create the perfect picture for us as mother and daughter. Christel had a great idea for a picture so she loaded us up in her van and took us to another location, we went way over time which didn't seem to bother her in the least, she was there to do a good job for us and that she did. This experience changed my daughter's life, she went from denying anyone to take a picture of her for years to wanting to do it again, she said " Mom I felt like a model, I love Christel, she made me feel beautiful". We are forever loyal to Christel for making our first experience wonderful and turning over some of the most beautiful pictures ever!
